So you may be thinking to yourself, “what does CARB 1 and CARB 2 mean?” Great question, because it’s hard to find readable information on this subject, just try Googling “Carb 1 Carb 2”, and see what comes up. It’s such an important subject, that we thought making the definitions understandable by humans was important.
Here’s the low-down on CARB 1 and CARB 2, otherwise known as California Air Regulatory Board. This is a standard of measuring Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), or Composite Wood Products (Engineered, Laminate products) of 0.21 Parts Per Million of formaldehyde into the air in order to be CARB 1 Compliant.
Both CARB 1 and CARB 2 meet OSHA standards and are very strict and in accordance with health board regulations. Most even exceed OSHA standards.
